Overnight Parking Information

Per Borough Code, Chapter 230, Section 20 Overnight Street Parking is Prohibited on Streets Within the Borough of Caldwell.

Per Borough Code, Chapter 230, Section 22, subsection D "Despite the foregoing provisions of this section, Borough residents may purchase from the Caldwell Police Department temporary overnight parking permits for the sum of $5 per night (or such higher fee determined by the Police Department after a public hearing conducted upon prior notice to the Borough Council). Permits shall be in the form determined by the Chief of Police, and each permit shall allow the permit holder to park an automobile in any lot in the Borough during the hours of 2:00 a.m. through 6:00 a.m."
