  Caldwell-West Caldwell Recreation Dept.

Caldwell shares Recreation services with West Caldwell and are administered by the West Caldwell Recreation Department, located at 30 Clinton Road. All programs, activities, and park facilities are available for enjoyment by both West Caldwell and Caldwell residents. A large number of programs are offered to children of all ages as well as adults.

Camp Wyanokie comprises 150 acres and is located at the edge of Norvin Green State Forest.   In 1972, the camp was given to the towns of Caldwell, Fairfield, North Caldwell, Roseland and West Caldwell for use by residents.  Camp Wyanokie surrounds a five-acre lake and offers picnic and camping facilities.

  Grover Cleveland Park

This heavily wooded 41.48-acre park is the 7th largest park in the Essex County Parks system.

Facilities include:
  • Lighted Tennis Courts
  • Bocce Ball and Shuffleboard Courts
  • Horseshoe Pits
  • Fieldhouse
  • Baseball Field
  • Toddler and Children's Separate Playgrounds
  • Pond for Ice Skating and Fishing
  • Picnic Areas
  • Jogging Paths
