PROTECT YOURSELF FROM EVICTION. If you are facing eviction, New Jersey may have protections for you and your family. These protections are not automatic. You MUST fill out an eviction prevention income self-certification form in order to take advantage of these protections. You can self-certify and apply for rental assistance at covid19.nj.gov/pages/renter or by calling 609-490-4550. For more information on self-certification, rental, mortgage, or utility assistance, or if you have additional questions, please visit www.housinghelpnj.org or call us at 888-691-3002.
